Managing Shareholder Scott Atherton has been selected for appointment to the Southern District of Florida Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel for the upcoming vacancy created by U.S. Magistrate Judge James Hopkins retirement. The Panel is charged with receiving comments from members of the bar and public, and examining all applications received in order to recommend to the Court the names of at least five applicants whose character, experience, ability, and commitment to equal justice under law fully qualify them to serve as a United States Magistrate Judge.
