Managing Shareholder Scott Atherton has been selected for appointment to the Southern District of Florida Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection and Reappointment Panel. The Panel will receive and examine comments from members of the bar and public of the judges’ good character, ability, and commitment to equal justice under the law, as well as other evidence of these factors regarding the reappointment or nonreappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judges Dave Lee Brannon and William Matthewman for an additional eight (8) year term at the conclusion of their current term.
